Sunset & Wine in Paradise | Celeste Photo Art | Wine Country Photography | Paradise Ridge

Every time I go to Paradise Ridge Winery, in the heart of the Wine Country, Sonoma County, I really feel like I’m in Paradise. Sweeping views of the valley, vineyards, soaring hawks and sunset over the coastal hills.

What you might not know is that every Wednesday night, from May-October, there is a Wine & Music event. You can bring your own picnic or purchase food from different vendors or food trucks (they change each week), listen to live music and enjoy the view.

I happened by the other evening with friends and was thrilled that my friends, Myles and Myles were playing . Falcon and his nine year old son, Caiden are amazing with their vocals and playing and it gave me a chance to get some pictures of them for their website. I’ve been photographing their family since Bonnie was expecting Caiden, so it’s really amazing to see him on stage playing guitar and singing with his Dad.

Then I turned around and saw Cheryl Collins with Masterpiece Cakes, a friend from our wedding work together. Turned around and got to hug Martha, the wedding coordinator at Paradise Ridge.

The funny thing was, I was on crutches (I broke my leg playing derby) and it was really hard to photograph. I tried leaning on one crutch and tried not to wobble. Then I tried leaning on a table. It was funny and not totally effective, however I did it! I’m off of crutches and fine now, just wanted to share one of my favorite things to do here in the Wine Country.
